Our Mission

Based on the recent reports, with the efforts of Government and NGOs, we could reach only 5% of the disabled individuals leaving a mammoth task of 95% of unreached. To achieve this, the first effort should be to train more and more professional in the field of special education. As it is the need of the hour the institute has already initiated the process of getting the sanction for collaborating in establishment of courses in the special education, with Annamalai University.

Child Adoption Scheme

The school is located in a rural based semi urban area where we have dearth in the availability of specialist namely speech therapist, occupational therapy, clinical psychologist and others. Hence, we require their services for the special Childs development. So the amount is effectively used to pay for the specialist services. The amount for adoption is around Rs. 9,000 (Nine Thousand) per year.

Special education teachers work with students who have a wide range of special needs and disabilities by creating and applying appropriate curricula and assign activities that are specific to each student’s abilities and needs. Special needs educators assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each individual student to work very closely with parents to keep them updated on progress and make recommendations to promote learning in the home.

Common special needs include learning disabilities (such as dyslexia), communication disorders, emotional and behavioral disorders (such as ADHD and ADD), physical disabilities (such as Brittle Bone Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Spinal Bifida), and developmental disabilities (such as autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disability).

The money for adoption of a child is spent on the additional educational services from;

• Social workers,
• School psychologists,
• Occupational and physical therapists,
• Career and technical education teachers,
• Physiotherapist,
• Instructional coordinators,
• Kindergarten and elementary school teachers,
• Middle school teachers,
• Preschool teachers,
• Recreational therapists and
• Clinical social Teacher
• School administrators,
