G.V.Special School for Mentally Retardedis exclusively for the children (6 to 18years) with mental retardation and multiple disabilities.They are from different parts of the district. Education is imparted depending on their skills and they are admitted to the educable or trainable category. We have a Pediatrician, Psychiatrist and Physiotherapist visiting the school ones a month. Down syndrome, Hydrocephaly, Cerebral palsy and Autism are the category of children who are educated and trained to their needs by special educator.
